Gaudi Center in Reus
Gaudi Centre, Gaudi Center
Spain, Reus
The museum opened in 2007. Its exhibits are models of projects by a native of Reus, the brilliant architect Antonio Gaudi, the author of the famous "alien" Sagrada Familia Cathedral and a number of bizarrely artsy houses in Barcelona. Many layouts and objects can be touched, turned, turned on and off, and an electronic audio guide helps to understand their structure and the creator’s intention, which comes to life around each particular exhibit and tells everything it knows about it.
On the second floor there is a glass floor with a map of Barcelona: all the buildings designed by the great Antonio are marked on it.
Another interesting place in the museum is the mirror cinema hall with revolving mushroom chairs: biographical films about Gaudí are constantly shown here.
