The main historical and cultural center of the city of Marbella is Orange Square, where amazing architectural monuments are concentrated - the building of the City Council erected in 1568 with a municipal museum, which houses archaeological excavations, the house of the royal governor with a gallery and a magnificent carved balcony with iron ornaments, decorated in the Gothic-Mudejar style, the tower-chapel of Hermit de Santiago and the most beautiful fountain of the Renaissance, as well as Santa Maria de la Encarnacion, a majestic temple of the 17th century.
