Botanical Garden of Malaga
Botanical Garden de la Concepción de Malaga, Jardín Botánico Histórico de la Concepción
Spain, Costa del Sol
The Botanical Garden of Malaga belongs to the English type of gardens with over 150 years of history. The garden is located at the northern entrance to Malaga.
There are more than 3,000 species of tropical plants collected from all over Spain and brought from Mexico, India, Australia and Japan. All of them are equipped with special plates with names, country of origin, age of the tree. The territory of the garden is very large, and in order not to get tired after a couple of hours of wandering, the organizers came up with special routes that are easy to follow thanks to signs and inscriptions, for example, “Around the World in 80 Trees”, “Forest Route”, “Concepción Treasures ”, “Best viewing platforms” or thematic garden expositions - citrus garden, bamboo collections, “Wine of Malaga”, etc.
