The monument "Ladder of Knowledge" is dedicated to Raymond Lull, a Catalan mystic, alchemist and philosopher. The monument was created by the sculptor Josep Subirax in 1976. The monument consists of eight steps, which, rising up, symbolize stone, fire, plants, animals, man, sky, Angel and God. The idea of ​ ​ the composition is taken from the philosophical treatise of Lull himself "On Ascension and Descent".→
