The symbol of the Costa Blanca, a limestone rock that reaches 332 meters in height and one kilometer long. It is the result of a landslide and one of the most beautiful natural features of Calpe, the Costa Blanca and the Autonomous Community of Valencia. In addition to its beauty, it stands out for its flora, fauna, especially birds, and marine life at the foot of the cliff, where it touches the Mediterranean Sea.

In 1987, the Rock of Ifach was purchased by the Government of Valencia, who declared it a natural reserve. The rock is a source of inspiration for many authors, poets, artists, composers, photographers. Around the rock you can find different paths leading to the rock and the coast of Calpe.

Extraordinarily beautiful place on the Costa Blanca
The Rock of Ifach is a natural reserve located on the northern coast of the Costa Blanca in the city of Calpe, founded in 1987. Set aside a whole day to visit. The route is divided into 2 parts. The lower, green part runs through the park and ends with a man-made tunnel. There are equipped paved paths and special shoes are not needed. You can walk to the tunnel in 30 minutes. On the way, magnificent views of the city of Calpe, its beaches, port, salt lake. You can also see the skyscrapers of Benidorm.→

Must visit coast
Gorgeous rock! You can walk to the middle of the route (a small tunnel) without any problems even in a slipper - the paths are even and uncomplicated. There are some great views along the way. If you still want to go upstairs, you need to put on better shoes. The second half of the way there are only paths with a rather rocky surface. But from the very top, the view is gorgeous. Climbing on average a little more than an hour, if not in a hurry.→
