Through the arch of the gates of Santa Maria, we will exit to San Fernando Square in front of the Cathedral dedicated to the Assumption of Our Lady. The construction of the cathedral began in 1221. According to legend, the first stone was laid by King Fernando III himself. The cathedral, of course, was rebuilt more than once. The most ancient: the southern facade, the main nave and the courtyard. The Cathedral is considered one of the most beautiful Gothic buildings, entrance is paid, part of the Cathedral is reserved for a museum, photography without a flash is allowed, with the exception of some rooms.→
