The sculptural composition, created by the Catalan artist Joan Brossa, is located on the New Square (Plaç a Nova). Six letters, five of which are made of bronze and one of which are made of aluminum, form the word Barcino. The installation reminds us that in Roman times the city was called Barcino. It is symbolic that Brossa's work is installed just on the square from which Barcelona actually once began.→
