The construction of the National Palace of Barcelona was dedicated to the day of the World Exhibition in 1929. This laconic and at the same time majestic building, made in the classical style of the Spanish Renaissance, did not leave indifferent the participants of the exhibition and the residents of the city. Since 1934, the building of the palace houses the National Art Museum of Catalonia.
The palace is located on top of the
Montjuic hill, not far from it you can see the famous
Magic Fountain.
