The Museum of Modern Art is one of the few Art Nouveau buildings in the Old Town area of Barcelona that immediately catches the eye. Here are collected valuable works of art, mainly Catalan and Spanish creators of the second half of the twentieth century and our days. The museum building houses a library with an extensive collection of scientific papers and literature on art. The museum is very popular, new exhibitions appear every few months.
