House Vicens (Casa Vicens). This is one of the first works of Antoni Gaudi, an order for which the young architect received almost simultaneously with a patent for architectural activity. The owner of the manufactory for the production of ceramic tiles and bricks, Manuel Vicens, became the customer, and to celebrate what the owner of the house is doing, Gaudí used a large number of multi-colored tiles in the decoration of the facade.
