Entrepreneur Bruno Cuadros, the owner of the house, popularly called the House of Umbrellas because of the umbrella shop located in it, commissioned the reconstruction of his house to the modernist architect Joseph Vilaseca y Casanova. On the main facade of the building there are decorative decorations borrowed mainly from oriental cultures. One of the most famous elements of its decor is a wrought iron Chinese dragon holding a lantern in its paws. At one time, it served as a kind of sign for the store.→
