On Pla? a de les Glories is a modern creation of the French architect Joan Nouvel. The unusual shape of the structure of the author was inspired by a geyser stream that beats into the air. The building is designed so that solar energy, through windows, contributes to heating, and part of the glass plates on the south side are provided with surfaces for generating electricity. The facade of the building consists of several thousand multi-colored windows, forming complex color combinations. The glass panels, painted in 40 different shades of enamel, shimmer in the sun like the surface of a pond - this creates the effect of vibration and movement, characteristic of flowing water, as Joan Nouvel intended.→
