We stayed at the Renaissance Golden Hotel. It was chosen because of its proximity to El Fanara. In the area of ​ ​ the hotel beach, there is always current and wind. This is due to the peculiarities of the current in the Gulf of Aqaba. Of the 8 days of rest, four of us were on a paid beach). The hotel on the beach has wind and a red flag (there was even such a thing), on Phanar, in the bay, after 50 meters, it is quiet and smooth)). The beach is comfortable, not big, there are cafes and restaurants, few people. We came after breakfast, calmly left for dinner and returned. And most importantly, these are corals and fish)). We have not seen such caves, bays, corals for a long time ...Whole coral gardens. Lots of big fish. In a chic bay, with incredibly white sand, our beloved stingray constantly rested ...Two Nemo families, right a meter from the steps . . An amazing family of small brown fish two meters to the left. Their flock resembles a huge swarm of bees, which is in constant motion. By the way, a wonderful entrance to the sea.
From a wide wooden staircase, two or four steps of which are always in the water. Yes, by the way, to our shame, only now we found out what kind of monument is located on the site in front of the entrance to the beach. This is a memorial to those who died during the crash of flight 604. It was installed in 2004 shortly after the tragedy, when a Flash Airines plane flying to Paris crashed in the Red Sea. Beautiful and very exciting.
