Complex of buildings with a great history. Huge columns and many statues. There are letters everywhere. Some passages are closed, there are under restoration. We went from Hurghada, actually for the sake of Luxor to Hurghada and drove off. It was only a couple of hours, but I remember it for the rest of my life. A lot of tourists from different countries. Were in December, the best time for such excursions.

Quite an interesting place. The valley of the sphinxes leads from it to the Karnak temple, although it has not yet been completely reconstructed.

Back in Kyiv, after reading the reviews, we booked a ticket with Mohammed Amon. I was intrigued, because it was not the first time we had a rest in Egypt, and I wanted to have a really interesting excursion to Luxor, especially for my son, he is 12 years old. I can say that the tour exceeded expectations, a lot of interesting information, in an easy form, diluted with perfectly polished jokes from the wonderful guide Mohammed ...Saturated, but without piling up too much. They don’t impose anything, they just inform about some things, which is very nice.

Usually, excursions are taken to the Karnak temple, and Luxor, if the guide comes across sensible (or the tourists get terribly meticulous), they show from the bus window. And outwardly they are very similar. Karnak is simply significantly larger.

The Luxor Temple is a huge open-air museum. Everything about it is impressive! Huge obelisks, statues of pharaohs and sphinxes convey all the majesty of Egypt at that time. Having been there once, you will definitely want to go back there to see all these beauties.
