Al Muiz Street is located in the historical part of the city, west of Al-Ahzar Park. It stretches for a kilometer from the southern Bab Zuweil Gate to the northern gates of Bab an Nasr and Bab al Futuh. Famous city mosques are located on Al-Muiz Street: al-Hakim, Al-Muayad, Al-Guri, Al-Akmar, the sultans of Qalawun, Barquq. And in the southern part of the street is the Gamaliya market.
