The pyramid complex at Giza is located on the Giza plateau in the suburbs of Cairo.

This ancient Egyptian necropolis consists of the Pyramid of Khufu (known as the Great Pyramid and the Pyramid of Cheops), the somewhat smaller Pyramid of Khafra a few hundred meters to the southwest, and the relatively modest Pyramid of Menkaure a few hundred meters further southwest, as well as a number of smaller accompanying buildings known as pyramids of queens, sidewalks and pyramids of the valley. The Great Sphinx is located on the east side of the complex, facing east. The Pyramid of Cheops is the only remaining monument of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
