The central district of the city began to be rebuilt in the 70s of the XIX century. At that time, new residential areas arose on the site of the slums, which were built up according to a single project. In the 50s of the twentieth century, the area began to be actively built up again, modern sleeping areas appeared. Today the Central District is a place with a developed infrastructure. The most popular attractions among tourists are the Rish cafe and the Groppi ice cream shop.
