Mahmeya is part of the Giftun Island in the Red Sea, the territory of which is considered a National Park. This is a coral reserve, located near Hurghada, an hour from El Gouna. Mahmeya is the only island remote from the resort that has a well-maintained beach. You can get to Mahmey by special tourist boats.
