Grand Aquarium in Hurghada

Hurghada Grand Aquarium
Egypt, Hurghada
The Grand Aquarium was opened in January 2015, located in the Magavish area, not far from the Mercure Hurgada 4 * hotel. The Grand Aquarium is a complex consisting of an aquarium, a small open-air zoo, swimming pools, restaurants and an educational center. There are also several glass tunnels where you can stand and watch the rays and sharks swim overhead.

Have never been to previous visits to Hurghada. Once again, having arrived in Hurghada, we decided to visit, we just lived not far from the aquarium, at the Albotros hotel chain. Well, you can visit it for show, but against the background of visiting large oceanariums, the grand aquarium does not look very good. Most of all I liked the aquarium with turtles and sharks. The zoo is also a sight to see. We went at lunch, just there were few people and no one interfered with walking and watching. From the unpleasant - while watching in the tunnel, the cleaner boy sprayed on the glass and began to wipe it with some kind of harsh chemicals, which started to hurt his eyes, that it was impossible to really look at the sharks.

I wanted to go on this tour, but was very disappointed. The Grand Aquarium for the most part is a dark, narrow labyrinth with drawn arrows, you run after the guide and do not have time to see the fish. There is a more or less wide corridor in which small sharks, moray eels and stingrays actually swim overhead. There is also a zoo in which crocodiles and large turtles are most interested.

We went with a child. Many species of fish, birds, snakes, crocodiles, monkeys, turtles (especially happy for the child that monkeys and turtles are allowed to feed, give a piece of game on a duck and the child feeds a turtle, a small turtle is held in his hands, stroked. Monkeys are fed grapes).

Located next to Hurghada Airport. This is the largest aquarium in Egypt (plus a small zoo). There is a wide variety of fish, rays, sharks, moray eels, turtles. At the entrance there is a pond where you can feed voracious fish from your hand. I recommend, positive impressions are guaranteed. The aquarium worker himself offered to feed (for free). Lots of marine life. Everything is beautiful. The zoo has crocodiles, flamingos, monkeys. Take a good harvest of seeds (from a sunflower) for the monkeys - a lot of impressions! A place worth visiting!.

It's one of the phrases on the billboard. Many adults are drawn here by children. But few regret the choice made. Hurghada rightfully occupies a top place in my rating of cities with an aquarium. The Grand Aquarium will amaze you with its richness of interest and the number of fish and creatures. After this aquarium, I fell in love with stingrays and finally got a good look at moray eels.

Terribly liked absolutely everything. I recommend to everyone from young to old. The decoration of the aquarium is made in the form of a submarine, imagine how much the children will like it, plus at the entrance you should go to the zoo in miniature, here you can feed and stroke the animals, as well as take pictures with them for free.

The price seems to be worth what he saw, but somehow it's a pity anyway) For $ 30, in addition to the grand (it's not just a word, it's really grand) aquarium, there is also a mini-zoo at the exit. There you can feed the animals yourself or watch how the employees do it. Liked everything.

I liked it very much, only pleasant impressions. In addition to the tour, which is held inside, you can walk in the courtyard, where crocodiles and turtles, pelicans are waiting for you. Turtles can be fed and stroked) This is one of the most pleasant memories of this trip. Entrance cost about $30 for an adult. The aquarium itself has a wide variety of Red Sea fish. There are poisonous ones, and small colored beautiful ones, and moray eels, and whoever you want)
