Rosenborg Palace is located in the northern part of the city near the State Museum of Art. It was built at the beginning of the 17th century and served as the residence of the Danish kings for a century. Currently, inside a beautiful building built in the Renaissance style, collections of royal jewels, art, porcelain and medieval weapons are exhibited. There is a beautiful garden next to the palace.
