The Nuremberg Fortress (N? rnberger Burg) is the collective name of the structures intended for the defense of the city. Entrance to the territory of the fortress is free. Views of the city from the Lugisland Tower and a visit to the Deep Well are paid. Issue price 3.50 euros, general ticket. All windows on the Tower are covered with wide bars. There is no lift. The deep well is famous for its adit, which is cut into the rock 47 meters down. The sound from a glass of water poured into the well "gets" to the surface only after 5 seconds.→
