Johannisfriedhof, Saint Johannis Friedhof, Cemetery of Roses
Germany, Nuremberg
The cemetery of St. John, also known as the "cemetery of roses", was created back in the 13th century. On its territory there are famous architectural monuments: the chapels of St. John and St. Stephen, the sculpture "Road of Suffering". The cemetery is famous for its beauty, as many roses grow everywhere.

The cemetery of St. John is considered one of the most interesting historical burial places in Germany. Due to the fact that rose bushes grow wildly on the territory, it is often called the "cemetery of roses". Old graves. Simple tombstones. Blooming roses (for a minute, the month of December is on the calendar!!! ). It is very quiet and calm here, and death is perceived rather as a slightly abstract and philosophical concept... The entrance is free. Shooting is allowed.
