Arsenal Zeughaus

Zeughaus, Zeughaus
Germany, Nuremberg
The Zeuchhaus Arsenal is located on Hallplatz, near Mauthalle. The building was built in the middle of the 16th century and was intended to store weapons and military ammunition, as well as food for the military. During the Second World War, it was almost completely destroyed, only the front part of the house survived. Later, thanks to the efforts of the restorers, a new building was erected. Now there is a police station here.

This unusual stone building with two towers has long been an armory and has been used for its intended purpose since about the 16th century. Only the front part of the Zeikhgauz has survived to this day in its original form, the rest was rebuilt several times.
