Ludwigstrasse is one of the central streets of the city. It stretches from
Odeonsplatz in the south to the Victory Gate in the north. Ludwigstrasse was developed at the beginning of the 19th century thanks to the local architect Klenze, who built many buildings here. On the street are the Leuchtenberg Palace, the State Library, the churches of the Ludwigskirche and Theatinerkirche.
