The Old Town Hall is located at Marienplatz. It was built in the XIV century, and at the end of the next century it was reconstructed in the late Gothic style. The building acquired its modern neo-Gothic appearance after the restoration of 1864. The wooden frieze of the main hall is decorated with 87 coats of arms, and part of the Old Town Hall is occupied by the Toy Museum.
