Allianz Arena Stadium
Germany, Munich
The home arena of the German football club Bayern. The stadium with a capacity of 75 thousand spectators is located in Munich. The construction of the sports complex began in 2002, and already in 2005 the grand opening of the Allianz Arena took place. The name of the stadium is temporary - the fact is that its sponsor is the Allianz insurance company, which bought the rights to the name for a period of 30 years. Due to its unusual shape, the stadium has received several nicknames among the fans, in particular "inflatable boat" and "air cushion". The illumination of the Allianz Arena is so powerful that on a clear night the sports complex can be seen from a distance of 75 kilometers. In 2006, the stadium hosted World Cup matches, and in 2012, the final of the prestigious European tournament, the Champions League, took place here.
