Skyscraper Commerzbank Tower
Commerzbank Tower
Germany, Frankfurt am Main
The skyscraper Commerzbank Tower, built on the Kaiserplatz by the British architect Norman Foster, is the tallest building in Germany. The building has 65 floors, its height is 259 meters, including the antenna - 300 meters. The courtyard is divided into 9 themed gardens dedicated to the flora of different parts of the world.
The double façades help circulate fresh air inside the building, while the special arrangement of the ceilings makes it possible to lower the temperature in the offices with the help of cold water. Once a month, the building hosts free guided tours for two groups of 18 people. To visit the tour, you must apply 4 months in advance. During the tour, you can visit a couple of gardens, one office floor and an observation deck on the 49th floor.
