The house "At the birth of the sun" is one of the most beautiful buildings in Erfurt. The bright yellow color makes the building stand out against the backdrop of the city. The house was built in half-timbered style. Due to reconstructions, its original appearance was lost, but the Renaissance portal of 1536 and two frescoes have been preserved. Now the building houses the city registry office. Excursions to the "sunny house" are not available.
