The Neues Museum is an art museum located on the Spreinsel Island in Berlin. It was built in the middle of the 19th century according to the design of the German architect Friedrich August Stüler. The expositions of the museum are devoted mainly to the culture of Ancient Egypt and the early history of modern civilization. There are many different household items of the ancient Egyptians, sarcophagi, papyrus collections, jewelry, weapons. And the pride of the museum is the bust of Nefertiti and the Berlin golden hat.

The new museum is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It began to be built back in those days when there was no longer enough space in the old one. Later, the museum building was seriously damaged during World War II and remained in ruins for decades. Then the museum was restored and now most of it is occupied by a collection of exhibits from Egypt with the famous bust of Nefertiti, a collection of papyri, as well as a museum of the prehistoric period. An interesting exhibit is also the Berlin golden hat of the end of the Bronze Age, which is also well preserved.
