The island is called "Museum" because of the number of museums that are located here - there are as many as 5 of them! By the way, there is nothing like it in the world. the island is even included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. And this, by the way, is very convenient. For the first time, you will have a great opportunity to visit all 5 museums at once in one day! After all, museums are all nearby, and you do not need to waste time on travel. I must say right away that this option is suitable for those who: a) have little time, but want to see to the maximum, b) are not a great connoisseur of art, painting and antiques, but want to look at everything with a superficial look. And it is absolutely not suitable if you: a) have planned a week to visit Berlin, you will have time to do everything slowly, b) you usually look at the fine painting on a porcelain cup for at least a few minutes - then you will not have more than 1 museum per day, more you won't be able to! We went around everything, we had enough time, and it was not a "run" for a short distance.
We just passed less interesting exhibits and stopped at more interesting ones, though we will have to move quickly and take a snack with us - so as not to waste museum time for lunch.
