This is the oldest active evangelical church in Berlin, as well as a local landmark. The date of foundation is 1300. The building was built using red bricks, the architectural style is brick gothic. The temple has an old silver organ with gilding elements, and the main pride is the two-meter fresco “Dance of Death”, which has been preserved since 1484.

The oldest of the active churches in Berlin, one of the 6 churches that once stood in the city center, has survived to this day. Now the church stands alone on the square, reminding of the historical past of Berlin. There are many various figures and decorations inside, although you cannot call it pompous. But Bach himself played on a silver organ with gilding!
