Kurfürstendamm boulevard
Kurfürstendamm, Kurfürstendamm Boulevard, Kudamm Street, Ku'damm
Germany, Berlin
The Kurfürstendamm boulevard is the famous Berlin street with a length of 3.5 km. Today it is home to many exclusive boutiques, presentable hotels and chic restaurants. The golden time for Kudamm fell on the first decades of the 20th century, when it became a center of entertainment, shopping and communication for the intelligentsia and the bourgeoisie of that time - expensive residential areas, an amusement park, cinemas were built here, and many cafes, cabarets and restaurants. The boulevard was restored after the end of World War II and for a long time served as a "showcase" of West Berlin. Currently, Kurfürstendamm is not only a popular place for walking, shopping and entertainment, but also one of the main highways of Berlin.
