Berchtesgaden National Park is located in the Alps, in the Bavarian region of the same name, and covers an area of 210 square meters. km. The highest point of the park is Mount Watzmann, the third highest mountain in Germany. On the territory of the national reserve there are two lakes Funtensee and
Königssee. The fauna in the park is represented by more than a hundred species of birds, including golden eagle, owl, capercaillie, raven, etc. Of the large animals, you can see deer, alpine goat, chamois and many others. The national park is under the protection of UNESCO as part of the Berchtesgaden bioreserve.
