panchava waterfall
Pančavský vodopad
Czech republic, Spindleruv Mlyn
The Pančava waterfall in the Krkonoše Mountains is the largest waterfall in the Czech Republic. It is located approximately 8 kilometers in a straight line from Spindleruv Mlyn and 10 kilometers from Harrachov.
The height of the waterfall is 148 meters, but during the period of ice melting, when the water level in the river rises, and it fills the channel that leads to the highest of the branches of the waterfall, for a short time it reaches 160 meters in height. There is an observation deck above the waterfall, which offers a breathtaking view of the entire valley and the highest mountains: Kotel and Lysuya.
