Loreta or Prague Loreta is the abbreviated name of the Church of the Nativity of the Lord, located in Hradč any on Loreta Square. The beginning of this complex was laid in 1626, when Baroness Catherine Benino of Lobkowice wanted to build a copy of the hut of the Virgin Mary, located in the Italian city of Loreto. She allocated money and land for construction. Even the masters from Vienna called herself. The hut was built, and a church was built next to it. After the Battle of White Mountain, when Protestants were defeated and Czech Catholics took control of the city, the Catholic Church began to actively involve the people in the bosom of Catholicism.→
