The square is named after Josef Jungmann, a prominent Czech philologist and Czech revivalist of the first half of the 19th century. His monument to sculptors Vaclav Levy and Ludwik Shimek is in the center of the square. Among the houses surrounding the square, the Adria Palace, a huge Cubist-style building, is the most attractive. House № 1 is an outstanding example of neo-baroque architecture. The other side of the square is occupied by the Austrian Cultural Center, through the central arch of which you can go to the Church of the Virgin Mary of the Snows.→
