The Museum of Alphonse Mucha was opened by his descendants in 1998 in the southern wing of the 18th century Kaunice Palace. With the assistance of the Foundation Alphonse Mucha. The museum exhibits paintings, drawings, sculpture, graphics, photographs, lithographs and personal memorabilia of the great artist, namely: posters, posters, advertisements and book illustrations, sketches and sketches for jewelry, carpets, wallpapers and theatrical scenery. Only a small part of the work of Alphonse Mucha is presented here - about 100 exhibits. A significant part of the exposition are things that belong to the Parisian period of the artist's life and work, located in the recreated artist's studio on Val-de-Grâce street. The museum also pays attention to Mucha's work after his return to Czechoslovakia. The museum has a gift shop.
