One of the most important examples of high baroque style in Prague. In 1668, this four-story building became the property of the Morzin family. In 1713-1714, the palace was built by order of Count Vaclav Morzin, designed by the famous architect Jan Blazei Santini. Together with the Thun-Hohenstein Palace, it is considered a masterpiece of Santini's work.

The palace has two courtyards with fountains and a garden. The main portal is decorated with large sculptures of Moors, on top of the bust portal - allegorical images of Day and Night. At the top of the facade are allegorical sculptures of parts of the world. The sculptures are made in the Baroque style by Ferdinand Maximilian Brokoff. In the 1740s, the young Joseph Haydn worked here. The palace belonged to the Morzins until 1881. Now the Romanian Embassy is located here.
