A small triangular square near the Old Town. Its center is adorned with a medieval well, built in 1560 and protected by a hand-forged lattice, which was probably created by the court locksmith J. Schmidhammer. The multi-colored hand-forged lattice is probably the oldest in all of Prague and is an example of the highest craftsmanship. It is decorated with ornaments and figures of angels on the edges, the top with poppies was completed in the 17th century by a Czech lion. The well and its equipment are still in operation today.

The square is surrounded by the houses of wealthy citizens - "In the golden lily", "In the golden crown", "In the black horse", "In the blue deer". Among them is the Roth House, built in the Neo-Renaissance style in 1890, designed by E. Rehzigel to house the shop of W. J. Rott. The facade is completely painted with ornaments and allegorical images of crafts made by A. Hofbauer and L. Novak according to the sketches of M. Alesh. Another name - "In three roses".
The lunettes depict various instruments. On the pediment - a house sign, three white roses. Under the house there are unique Romanesque cellars of the second half of the 12th century on two levels. Fragments of Renaissance medieval sgraffito are preserved on the facade of the house "At the Golden Horn". In summer, the area is almost completely filled with cafe tables.
