Krzhizhikovy Fountains - a complex of singing fountains located in the pavilions of the Prague Exhibitions. Named after the chief engineer Frantisek Krzyzhik. They were built for the opening of the First Czech Industrial Exhibition of the Habsburg dynasty in 1891.
Considered a unique European heritage. The 25 by 45 meter pool contains water rings topped with 3,000 sprinklers and driven by 49 pumps, the total length of the pipes is about 2 kilometers. Places for spectators are designed in the form of an amphitheater designed for 6 thousand spectators. The duration of the performance is 40 minutes, the performance goes on every hour, starting at 20:00.
