If you go south of Charles Square directly on Visegrad Street, you can go to the majestic church - the Church of St. John of Nepomuk. The church is rightly considered the best work of architect Kilian Ignac Dintzenhofer. Many experts in the field of architecture and art noted the successful decisions of the artist, and the church itself was recognized as the pinnacle of the Prague Baroque. Jan Nepomuk, after whom the church is named, became a saint and martyr for the Czech people in the 15th century, almost immediately after his horrific death by order of King Wenceslas IV.→
