Basilica of St. George (Jiri) - the second largest church in Prague Castle. At the beginning of the XIII century to the south side of the tower was added the chapel of St. Ludmila. The southern portal of the basilica (from Irzhskaya Street) is decorated with a relief depicting St. Rust, who fights a dragon (author Benedict Reed). The western faç ade of the basilica acquired a modern look during the Baroque period as a result of the reconstruction made by Francesco Caratti (in 1671) and Františ ek Maximilian Kanka (in 1718-1722).→
