In fact, this monastery is part of the national gallery, although geographically distant from it. Built in the Gothic style, it has collected a collection of Czech medieval art. You will be stunned by the beauty of these works, especially from the 14th century. Humanity in paintings and sculptures, as for me, is presented much brighter and more exciting than in Italian creations of the Middle Ages. In one room, a painting by Vyshebrodsky “The Cycle of the Life of Christ” is shown - this is truly a masterpiece! The art gallery is really outstanding - spacious rooms and well-lit paintings, arranged in chronological order, make it possible to fully enjoy the art of that time.→
