Czech republic, Harrachov
The Mining Museum and the excursion adit were opened in Harrachov in March 2003 on the first level of the former adit. The museum exhibits examples of fluorite deposits, tools and equipment used in the mining industry, maps and photographs of work in local mines.
The excursion route takes about a kilometer and lasts about an hour. The air temperature in the mines is about 10-12 degrees, so visitors are advised to dress warmly. Visitors are also provided with a protective jacket and helmet.
