The Paphos Archaeological Museum has a collection of ancient finds from Cyprus in the Paphos region, from the Neolithic era to 1700 AD.
The exhibits, mostly from Paleopaphos (Kuklia), Nea Paphos (modern Paphos) and Marion Arsinoi (Polis), are complemented by finds from Peyia, Kisonegra, Lempa, Pano Arodes, Salamiou, Akourdilla, Pomos, Kidasi, Geroskipou, etc.
The five halls of the museum display interesting exhibits from the Neolithic era to the Middle Ages. The first room contains exhibits from the Neolithic, Copper Age, Bronze Age, including coins minted in Paphos. In the second room there are exhibits from the Iron Age and the Classic period, a tombstone from Marion with an inscription in Cypriot script. In the third hall - exhibits of the Hellenistic and Roman periods. The marble statue of Aesculapius and the marble bust of Aphrodite are in the center of attention. The fourth room contains exhibits from the late Roman to early Christian periods, while the recently added fifth room contains exhibits from the Byzantine period and the Middle Ages.
