Happy Valley Amusement Park was opened in 2006 on the outskirts of Beijing. On its vast territory, several thematic zones are distinguished: the Aegean harbor, Shangri-La, the Wild Fjord, Atlantis, the Ant Kingdom and the Mayan Temple. The park offers visitors 40 attractions and 8 cinemas, various games, shows and performances with the participation of actors in colorful costumes and cartoon characters are held here. Every year, Happy Valley Park hosts various festivals: the Sports Festival, the Water Festival, the Chinese New Year Festival, the Popular Music Festival, and the International Day of Magic.
