The Geological Museum of China is the largest geological museum in Asia and one of the oldest in China. It was founded in 1916 and is located in Xicheng, Beijing. The area of the museum is more than 11,000 sq.m., there are five permanent and two temporary halls. The well-systematized list of exhibits includes more than 200,000 samples that cover different areas of geology.
