Senate square
Senado Square, Largo do Senado
China, Macau
Senate Square is the central square of Macau. It arose in the middle of the 20th century, and acquired its modern look in the 90s of the last century after a large-scale reconstruction: the square was paved with black and white tiles with patterns in the form of waves. Along the perimeter of the Senate Square are Portuguese ancient churches, as well as modern Chinese restaurants. Many city events take place here.
