The indigenous people of Hainan Island are the Li people, who live mainly in dense tropical forests on the mountain slopes in the center of the island. Representatives of another nationality living in Hainan are direct descendants of the Miao tribe from Guangxi province.
During the tour, tourists are introduced to the life and rituals of these peculiar peoples, they show the wedding ceremony, dances, and life. The Coconut Festival of the Li and Miao peoples is held on the 3rd day of each month according to the lunar calendar, and in the evening of this day, art groups perform in Dadonghai Bay. During the holiday, a fair of various handicrafts opens.
