The Bellerive Museum of Applied Arts is part of the Design Museum and is housed in a wonderful villa built in 1931 on the shores of
Lake Zurich. About 15,000 exhibits are collected here - these are art products made of glass, ceramics, wood, metal and textiles. The quality of the collections of the Bellerive Museum is very high, here are the works of famous artists, designers and artisans - such as Emile Galle, William Morris, Henry van de Veld and many others. The museum has an excellent collection of textiles - these are old samples of fabrics, silk products from baroque to modern, clothes and textiles of the 19th and 20th centuries. In the sections of ceramics, furniture and artistic glass, the most valuable examples of art nouveau (art nouveau) and modern art products from all over Europe stand out. It is worth paying attention to an interesting collection of glasses from different historical periods, as well as collections of musical instruments and puppets.
